Intermediate Argentine Tango

Service Description

Take your tango further with a class focused on musicality, dynamics, connection and more sophisticated movement and ideas. Intermediate dancers should be comfortable dancing in both open and close embrace, have a good understanding of giros, and some familiarity with tango musicality and different orchestras. Most students rotate partners during the class, although you’re very welcome to stay with a fixed partner if you prefer. No partner is required. Not sure if you’re ready for Intermediate? We try to keep the level of the group reasonably consistent so that everyone gets the most from the class, particularly as most students rotate partners. If you’re still building confidence with the walk, ochos and cross, we recommend our Improvers class first. If you’re unsure, just ask one of the teachers — we’ll be happy to advise. Thursdays, 7–8pm £15 class only · £20 class + practica No booking needed — just come along and pay at the studio. Taught by Dante & Chris, with occasional guest teachers.
