About Dante

Dante started his dancing career studying ballet with Fulvia Chagra de Gruber and Andrei Kozlov (ex principle dancer of the Kiev Opera) in his native town of Jujuy, Argentina.  He took up tango in 2003, before moving to Buenos Aires for his performance debut in some of the most renowned milongas of the city.

Dante moved to the UK in 2008 where he founded the Northern Tango Academy with his first partner Miriam Orcutt, and later the Oxford Tango Academy, which is host to the yearly Oxford Tango Festival. He currently teaches in Oxford, London, and is a regular guest teacher, performer and competition judge in various international Tango Festivals.
