Step into the world of tango...

... where movement, music, and connection come together.

Whether you’ve danced before or never taken a single step, tango is for everyone. All you need is curiosity and an open heart.

What is Argentine Tango?

Argentine Tango is a beautiful social dance born in Buenos Aires. At its heart, it’s not about fancy steps—it’s about connection. Two people share the music, moving together as one. Each dance is unique, improvised, and full of feeling.

I started to dance tango with no previous knowledge and it has been an incredible experience. This tango studio is a true Argentine gem in West London, and you will certainly be learning from the best. Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful Tango journey!

By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll be able to dance a full Argentine Tango tango track with confidence. You’ll learn the essential steps, musicality, posture, and the art of connection that makes tango so special. Most importantly, you’ll discover how to improvise and enjoy the dance in a social setting.

Move to the next level!

Once you’ve taken your first steps, you can move on to our Improvers classes, where you’ll expand your vocabulary, refine your technique, and discover how to dance with more musicality and style.

Alongside learning, it’s time to enjoy the true heart of tango—social dancing. We invite you to join our friendly Thursday night social, the perfect place to practice, meet other dancers, and experience the magic of tango in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Ready to Start?

It's never too late to start learning tango. We are ready when you are. Book your spot now and start the life-changing journey of Argentine Tango. Spaces are limited!

  • Do I need a partner?
No, you don’t need a partner to join. We rotate partners throughout the class so everyone gets a chance to dance and learn together.
  • Do I need any dance experience?
Not at all! This course is designed for complete beginners. We start with the basics and build your confidence step by step.
  • What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. For shoes, we recommend something with a smooth sole that allows you to pivot easily (avoid rubber trainers if possible).
  • How long is the course?
The course runs for 6 weeks, with one class per week. Each class is 1 hour.
  • Can I join if I miss the first week?
It’s best to start from week 1, but if there’s space, you may still join during the first two weeks of the course. After that, we recommend waiting for the next course cycle.
  • What if I can’t make all 6 classes?
We encourage full attendance, but if you miss a class, don’t worry — each week reviews key material, and you can always practice outside class.
  • Can I take the course more than once?
Absolutely! Many students repeat the beginners course as a great way to consolidate their knowledge and build confidence before moving on. Each round deepens your understanding and makes your dancing more natural.
  • Can I take other classes alongside the beginners course?
Yes! Once you have completed at least one course, we recommend joining our drop-in Improvers Class at 8pm, which runs right after the beginners course. It’s the perfect way to reinforce what you’ve learned and explore new tango techniques.
  • What’s your refund policy?
More than 7 days before the course: Full refund (minus Wix fee). 48h–7 days before: 50% refund (minus Wix fee). Within 48h: Non-refundable.
  • Where do the classes take place?
At Dante Tango Studio, London (full address and map link provided in your booking confirmation).
  • How do I book my spot?
Simply click the “Book Now” button on this page and secure your place through our online system.
